OH THE HUMANITY!!!!!! This has got to be the worst thing that's ever happened!

Seriously, if you don't understand why they might be looking at him, then you must've really been upset when Draper, Maltby, Peca, etc. made previous Team Canada squads.

If Horcoff was playing at the same offensive level as his all star year, he would be a fantastic choice. A PPG player who's great on defense and the draw? When he was at that level I suggested a line of Morrow Horcoff and Doan. One of Doan or Morrow would have to play on their wrong side though. That line would be a hell of a line to play against.

But now, Horcoff just isn't at that level offensively. Canada need players who can check but at the same time be able to put the other team away with a goal or two. Richards and Morrow would be good choices.

So I understand the logic of them watching him. I suppose it says more about what the league thinks about him rather than grumpy fans.

Horcoff is a damn good hockey player, and could be extremely effective in the 3rd or 4th line center slot - why is this surprising? Plus he might rediscover his scoring touch, you never know. He won't make it barring incredible injuries to all the centers ahead of him, but he deserves to be watched. Souray too.

Doan spent most of his career at RW, so Morrow/Doan could still be 2/3 of a solid checking line regardless of who the center is.

It's funny the amount of people that are justifying this instead of clicking on the link. The fact that people can actually entertain the thought that this is not a joke and don't need to click it, is actually just as funny as the link.

I suspect Horcoffs first investment with his new paycheques was one hell of a pair of kneepads. Gold trim and all. Way to get er done Horc.

Morrow - ??? - Doan.

Seems like a huge upgrade to anything with Draper to me.

This thread had Rick Roll all over it as soon as I saw the title. Sometimes its nice to play along to try and get some of the more extreme responses and not point it out at post 8.

Well a pretty smart hockey mind in MacT, who has forgotten more about the game then most of us will ever know, thinks Horcoff deserves consideration.

Fake links lost their humour about a half a year ago.

It's about hilarious as someone saying "NOT!!"

Who actually is? I can't see anyone that says he should be on the team in his current play.

In these times of Oiler Armageddon, a little humour is welcome.

No. Life is pain. There is no humour. Humour to me is death. This world isn't worth a cheap laugh.

I'm actually 26 to be exact and at work.

Unlike you who im sure is sitting at Grant Macewan during one of your breaks.

Your actually going to give me a valid reason why Horcoff would even be considered onto Team Canada?

Let me remind you the many Centerman this team has to choose from. Crosby, Iginla, Lecavlier, Thornton, Marleau, Toews, Getzlaf, Richards

But i'm sure your argument is very valid.
