Rumor was Higgins for Marchant which seems like a win for Anaheim.

There's a lot of people who seem to think that Higgins has a 'tude problem. Perhaps they're purging their club of this issue?

IMO this is just people clutching for some rumor and since Higgins has struggled to score through the first 15 games they are throwing his name around.

Marchant makes no sense IMO from a NYR perspective

There is definitely something wrong with Higgins. He is clearly no where near the player he was for the 1st 3 years of his NHL career. He really looked to be developing into a very solid top two line LW with captain potential, and it just went off the rails last season and has gotten worse this year.

A couple of years ago I honestly thought he was the Habs future captain.

Well Komisarek was a future captain as well and now he's playing for Toronto.
