Because we really do need it...

We missed the playoffs twice just because we could not win in OT shootouts...Had the league not enforced that rule, we would have made it...

It has been a trend for years...we just stink in clutch time...

I don't like this turnover thing our forwards seem to be perfecting.

Yep. Looking at you Matty Stajan.

Don't not capitalize on your scoring chances. That's pretty much it, since I think they usually have one or two before letting in a goal. Besides that, I'm just going to throw out random thoughts that may or may not have anything to do with anything:

- try not to play Bouchemin much
- play Ian White much
- try not to make stupid "last gasp" risky plays in the zone when you don't have to
- block shots block shots block shots block shots
- do you want to dangle the puck? If yes NO.
- given a choice between turning the puck over and not turning it over, please choose not
- if all else fails, hire shaman to perform a hex-cleansing rituals on the team

So yeah, I really have no idea what's going on with overtime for the Leafs.

-make the most of your scoring chances.
-5 on 3 PP should yield at least 1 if not 2 goals during the man advantage.no excuses for not scoring at least 1 goal when your playing 5 on 3 at minimum.

Anyway, yeah - they need a bit of luck... a break of some sort.
