Lukas Kaspar leaves Flyers
Quote:
The Philadelphia Flyers confirmed on Tuesday evening that they've terminated the contract of Adirondack Phantoms forward Lukas Kaspar.
According to a Phantoms source, Kaspar left the team on Saturday to pursue an opportunity with a professional team in Europe. Kaspar, a left wing, departed the Phantoms after playing Friday night in Toronto on Saturday.
The Flyers organization declined further comment.

Yeah, we kind of knew this was going to happen when he didn't make the team out of camp.

Tons of skill, no heart what-so-ever. Huge disappointment.
Good luck Lukas.

Good news, now hopefully when this thread has done its course, that name will never be spoken here again. What a pile of crap. Not even KHL material. Send him to the China Sharks as a message for prospects that what will become of them if they put in no effort.

He's roughly 400 times better in EHM than he is in the NHL...so that's something...

I always wanted Lukas to succeed. Lots of talent, but it's like he never gave 100%....EVER.

Did the Flyers retain his rights, as in is this a loan situation? Or an outright release?

If they terminated his contract as reported then there's no rights retained.
