Pekka Rinne to L.A
Jonathan Quick is a good goalie. But still not ready. He varies a lot and no gives a lot of confidence.
Rinne is a great goalie. He would be a good addition.
Pekka Rinne is
UFA (2010/11).

Jonathan Quick's goaltending clearly demotivated the team last night. Good call.

Yes. but he still is not ready to be the No. 1 goalie.
He varies a lot. A game he plays like Ward. Another game like Labs.

He has a total of three regulation losses in 14 starts. What are you expecting of him? To be 14-0-0?

I'd trade Erzbergerz and a mid or late round pick for Rinne, not much else.
Next year its gonna be Quick and battling each other hard and forcing the other to elevate their game to get playing time.

Stats is very relative.
Quick is inconsistent this season.
The difference is that other players are playing very well ..

Yes, I can see why Nashville would want to trade the goalie they're building around for your crummy backup and a mid\late pick. Yes, I can definitely see that.
Rinne isn't available. Ellis probably is, but Rinne is not.

We should trade Quick for Luongo straight up. I mean some games Luongo plays like Labs and other times like Ward too.

Its only fair.
Why would we want Rinne when we have Quick? Let us not underestimate homegrown talent and the camaraderie that that brings...

Yes, now that Rinne finally starts playing well, we should trade him. It makes so much sense!

I like Quick. I made this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NStXtdrGvE
Jon Quick will be a very very good goalie in the future, i think.
But he is not well.It does not matter if he lost 3 games.
How many wrong decisions? Many positioning errors?
Countless.
When is winning seems all is well. Not quite.
And .. with all due respect to Jonathan Quick, Pekka Rinne is better.

Don't you think if management thought Quick wasn't ready or not playing well they'd try Bernier out first before trading for another goaltender?

That is using logic and logic is strongly frowned upon here. Please learn to emotionally overreact.
Thank you,
The Management
