Seven Oilers participating in Movember

http://oilers.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=504410

Brule, Chorney, Gagner, Jacques, O'Sullivan, Stortini and Stone. Apparently it was Gagner's idea. Thumbs up from me, this should be both entertaining and raise money for a good cause.

The video's pretty good: http://oilers.nhl.tv/team/console.jsp?catid=4&id=50260

That's fantastic! I tried to get a couple of guys to sign up, including my little brother.. Sadly he's 17 and says its not a good stache to be growing out.

Something tells me this is one competition that Stortini will win in a land slide.... I donated $20 for the Zack Attack.

I think stone may look the most ridiculous, so I threw a donation his way.

I betcha Chorney can grow a wicked stache. And Zach as well. The others...I doubt it.

I didn't realize Gagner could even grow a beard and mustache. Hopefully it looks better than Crosby's rat whiskers.

Stortini will look like an animal at the end of the month. lol

I'm thinking Jacques is going to end up with a nice stache.

Although, this is Gagner in the playoffs with London, so I guess he's sort of capable?

I'm a bit surprised Strudwick, Gilbert, MacIntyre & Penner arent doing it. They seem to have the personalities to want to something funny like this for charity.

Chorney needs to grow his hair out. He needs to look exactly like that picture posted above.

Penner not being involved is definitely a surprise.. Him and Gagner did staches last year for the Anderson retirement, didn't they?

Stortini is going to be amazing

Strudwick didn't think his wife would let him, so he said no. I thought Penner would be on the list too.

I'm a bit surprised that NONE of the "old blood" on the team are participating.

Well, Strudwick kind of made it sound like maybe they wanted the "kids" to start doing more of this kind of thing, since the older guys have done their part (and no doubt continue to do so behind the scenes). Plus if it was Gagner's idea he probably asked the guys he's friends with ... omg rift in the dressing room!!

Gilbert doesn't surprise me. A stache wouldn't look good with any of his shoes that he currently owns.

Did I see that right? Chorney already has over $1300 in donations already, while #2 has $340 (Stone)? Wow!

He'll need a sweet stache to even hope to compete with Chorney!
