The Monster Mash
Well I had wanted to do a whole lengthy poem for Jonas to the tune of Monster Mash but I've run out of time, so I threw together a couple verses quickly. If anyone can come up with more pertaining to him, the Leafs players or the Hab players, feel free to add.
He was playing on the D late one night
When his eyes beheld an awesome sight
Growing from his lip, it came to arise
And suddenly to his surprise
It was the 'stache, It was Ian White's 'stache
Ian White's 'stache, it scared Jaroslav Spac
Ian White's 'stache, it caught on in a flash
Ian White's 'stache, each Leaf grew their own 'stache
Jonas tended goal, that Saturday night
He turned aside the Habs, defense airtight
They sent each of their gnomes, they dropped the ball
Gionta, Gomez, Camm, he'd stone them all
He did the Mash, he did the Monster Mash
The Monster Mash, he's a Bell Centre smash
The Monster Mash, Price saw the red lights flash
The Monster Mash, he did the Monster Mash
Upper management, they saw their chance
Jonas, Phil and Luke sent them to the dance
Rebuilding be damned, they'd trade for Kovalchuk
More picks gone at deadline, it made me upchuck
They made some cash, some playoff round fast cash
1st round fast cash, Flyers they were plain trash
2nd round fast cash, Fleury got red light rash
3rd round fast cash, Teachers was flush with cash
Aaaaaaa oooooooooo.....
He did the Mash, he did the Monster Mash
The Monster Mash, he's a Bell Centre smash
The Monster Mash, Price saw the red lights flash
The Monster Mash, he did the Monster Mash
