Tonight's Falcons Stream Link

I just noticed that the Falcons game, and a lot of other AHL games are being streamed tonight. Here's the link:

I like being an armchair GM, but an armchair scout is where you gain credibility...Enjoy.

Thanks a bunch.

I wish I would have noticed this sooner as I was already listening to the online radio feed. I just noticed this part way into the 3rd.

I will have to start checking the atdhe site more often. I never noticed AHL stuff on there before.

I had no idea these were online either.

Chris Minard with a slapshot shootout goal as the winner. First time I've seen that, whatever works though. Ryan Potulny with a nice deke shootout goal as well.

Thanks for the link!

Springfield wins 4-3 in a shootout. Potulny and Minard (on a slapshot) scored, and Dubnyk stopped all four shooters he faced.

Potulny's goal in the shootout was a beaut. He's got some quick hands.

I also never knew they did rounds of 5 in the shootout in the AHL either.

I like that, actually. I've never been fond of the 3-round shootout. It puts so much emphasis on the first shooter; one miss and you're so far behind already. I like that 5 shooters gives them more of a chance to score, and a little less emphasis on goaltending.

I don't mind it either. Takes a little bit of the pure luck factor out anyway.

That's true. Like when a guy skates in and loses control altogether. Then you're like, "****, this is over."

I check the site everyday because they have a wide range of sports options, especially tennis. This is the first time I've seen this many ahl games though.

I think this is reflective of the demand for online streaming of pro hockey in general given the subsidiary coverage that it receives in the US. People can't watch it on cable, so where do they look? The Internet.
