Flyers Medical Staff and Flyers organization

Just wondering what's up with those guys again. With the Gagné situation they have another case of a player with recurrent injuries. Last year it was Brière, before that Primeau and Lindros with threats of lawsuits and so on. Then obviously the Babych case. Is the medical staff to blame there or is the team rushing their players year after year to come back from injury? I know they pride themselves having tough players and whatnot, and they have every right to do so but I don't know, it looks like a fishy organization when it comes to injuries.

Seems like a prefect thread for the Flyers board since their fans could probably answer best.

Beside the point, though.

I don't see anything fishy about them. They just have a very unique way of doing things.

Gagne is injury prone.

There's no way they still have the same guys they had when Lindros and Primeau were around, right?

With Gagne this time around (it's his groin this time), I think he tweaked it early on in the season, they asked him if he thought if he could go, he probably said yes, and then agitated it into hernias. I don't think it has anything to do with the medical staff or the organization.

You should also know that their are doctors not related to the Flyers organisation that give the "green-light" also.

How about that noted oncologist Dr. Robert Earle (Bobby) Clarke?

His eminent opinion and diagnosis of the condition of coach Roger Nielsen before dismissing him:

"Roger got cancer - that wasn't our fault. We didn't tell him to go get cancer. It's too bad that he did. We feel sorry for him, but then he went goofy on us."

The 'Bob Clarke is the devil' thread is over there.

I've wondered the same thing too. No idea if they're the same Doctors or not.

I've never been a fan of our trainer, Jim McCrossin. I honestly don't know if these injuries are all his fault, but one has to think groin injuries could be avoided with better conditioning.
