I don't know of any except Jussi and Trevor vanRiemsdyk. Jussi was a borderline NHLer and I don't think Trevor is going to be anything great.

thats a neat bit of trivia, didn't realize we drafted him. Too bad it didnt work out, would've been a sweet defense pairing!
funny how he plays for a team owned by sami kapanen and kimmo now.
(do you think he got signed cause big brother kimmo is one of the team's owners?

Richards has a cousin playing in Europe, but I don't think he's ever going to sniff the NHL: http://hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=50249

Carle's brother David was an NHL prospect before it was discovered he had a medical condition that forced him to retire, a heart condition I believe. In a classy move, the Bolts drafted him in the 7th round last year despite the condition just so he could realize his dream of being drafted.

I remember that, Thats one of the best moves i've ever seen from an organisation. Along with the flyers putting rathje and hatch on IR so they could get their money

Flyers drafted Eric Wellwood who's brother is Kyle Wellwood (currently playing for the Canucks). If you're looking for players to draft (younger siblings of current players), it doesn't do much help.

Jussi Timonen looks pretty good, not great but decent. Anyone think it would be cool if we picked up jussi and paired him with Kimmo? I would feel tremendously secure having two timonen's on the ice, defensively sound and brothers!

from what i gather jussi is a bit bigger than Kimmo, but not as good overall. However, Kimmo was a late bloomer so maybe we should try and reacquire jussi, if not for sh!ts and giggles...

Danny Syvret has a younger brother, Corey who is 20 yrs old. He was drafted by Florida but never signed. He currently is playing in the OHL and could eventually make it up to the NHL. It's taken Danny a few years to reach the NHL.

It was a good gesture. And I always thought they could try to get him to go to further schooling and see if he'll work in the organization.

Although anyone drafted after him must feel like crap. A guy that can't even physically play went before them.
