The Hawks Sure Like Karaoke

What's with all the videos on YouTube featuring the Chicago Blackhawks. Is there something I'm missing? Team building exercise? Wow!

Hawks seem to be pretty good with all these behind the scene candid type videos.

I wish I had the interview from ESPN 1000 Chicago were Burish talked about how Canadians lack education and aren't that intelligent because they don't care about teaching there kids because all they do is think about hockey!

I had to comment on this...

That is a BOLD statement.

I mean, going to school in Highschool... YES hockey players did get away with a lot and didn't have to do as much assignments and stuff as long as they performed on the icee for the school... mind you... i don't think that is different from many other sports like Basketball and Football...

Saying Canadians lack education is just false. If anything, one can easily fire back and say... well, at least we can point out ourselves on the globe, something like 1 out of 5 Americans can't.... yet another amazing stat, 60% of Americans are unable to find the country they have been at war with for over 5 years (Iraq)...

I am sure it wasn't your perogative to slam Canada's educational system but I had to say something, because we are very educated in Canada, as I am sure you have read many different posts from Canadians.

He was being funny when he talked about it! Mainly he was making fun of guys like Toews and how they talk and stuff!

I am sure people in Canada make fun of Americans like that!

Hey man, I have a sense of humor... it's hard to get someone's vibe from text, wasn't sure if you were slamming or not, hence why my post wasn't slamming you or USA but just sticking up for Canada

You're right to some degree hockey players do sound dumb, and if the majority represented Canada, ya... i can see how someone can think our educational system isn't "giving 110%" and "may need a gut check time" because all hockey players sounds the same...

Chicago has a long and glorious history of their sports teams performing songs. Just look at the Superbowl shuffle

Still love it , Watching all the white guys struggle to dance is embarrassing but aside from that how can you not love something like this.

They made it months before they actually won!

Think they only lost 1 game too, right? Game 13 or something weird like that. I fully expect you guys to revive this for the hawks when they go for the cup.

Yep they lost to Dan Marino and the Dolphins.

15-1 reg sea
3-0 playoffs (def NYG 24-0 , Def LA Rams 21-0 and then beat New England 46-10)

The Hawks couldn't use this.

When White Sox won WS the team adopted dont stop believing. We even had the lead singer of Journey partying with our team when they won WS (Embarrassing when players and him sang it at WS rally )

Hawks would have to find another song to go to. Chelsea Dagger would probably be it!
