well your team looks pretty good, just getzlaf and sedin are hurting you right now, but getzlaf will heat up soon enough. if you were to drop someone it would be either sturm, or booth, and if you were to pick someone up i think you should pick up rene bourque because hes playing top line minutes in calgary with iginla and jokinen, so he'd be your best bet.

I would pick up Niedermayer and E. Johnson and replace Bieksa and Wideman to improve your defence.

To improve your offence, Bourque is a no-brainer. I would drop Booth immediately. I would also add Andrew Brunette or Jason Pominville and drop Marco Sturm.

basically what i was gonna say

and please cross backes and horton off of your hot commodities list, I drafted both of them and my team sucks now...Losing savard doesn't help though. I've dropped backes for pominville(i figured at least pominville gets assists when he's not scoring...) and probably will drop horton soon as well...

also had booth, dropped him for byfuglien but if bourque were available i'd have gone for him.

Not anymore he doesn't, and he might play with Gaborik, but I can't see him getting more than 50 points, plus, my center isn't the weak spot... I need to replace Booth's production and I want to get rid of Sturm. So... ideas?

Just picked up Backes for Sturm, I feel like Backes will have to come on sooner or later and Boston's going down the tubes without one of their two best offensive forwards...

Now, it's on to Booth and whether or not he's replaceable/worth to replace. There IS an IR spot available, if he goes on the IR.....

eh, backes is another guy who came out of nowhere last year and might go down the tubes again...

look at him in 07-08, and 06-07...What if he returns to that form?

Plus you factor in that kariya and the other injured Blues opened up tons of icetime for the young guys like backes last year.

Sturm still has bergeron or krejci to feed him decent passes. I'd have kept him over backes at least until backes starts to show some promise. Highly doubt backes would have been grabbed any time soon.

Well Backes is playing first line minutes currently, I guess we'll see.
