The 90's point leader for our current team
The 90's, for the most part, were horrific. But who would you like to see on our current squad. (Obviously not now, but when they could call themselves the leading point scorer for the Isles)

Easily Palffy. Our RW depth is horrible and he was second best RW the Isles ever had.

I like both lafontaine and turgeon better than the other candidates but looking at our roster, we are in bigger need of scoring wingers and palffy would be my choice. i would play palffy with bailey while keeping okposo with tavares.

How do you NOT pick Lafontaine over any of those other guys?

He is the clear and easy choice. He is world's better than Turgeon and Ziggy was good but compared to Patty not so much.

LaFontaine, Turgeon, Palffy, Kasperitus, Kenny Johnson, Luongo. Any one of those would be fabulous.

I would take one of LaFontaine, Palffy, or Turgeon, in that order. Not sure why Ferraro, Reichel, or Czerkawski even sniff this list (no disrespect to Ray).

Lafontaine is my choice. speed, playmaker, finisher.
( should you decide on doing this for D, it would be bomber, pilon.. etc...)

I like how this abysmal season is leading us to posts you'd expect to see in mid-August. Here's hoping this season turns around some.

Bingo. Think BPA. Otherwise, you're overthinking this.

I believe the intention was to offer choices from the players who led the Isles in single season scoring in the 90's.

Yep. Unfortunately some of these guys were the leaders in scoring. No disrespect, as well.
