--The Predators plan to keep Triston Grant on the NHL level for the time being, even though Ward will return to action. Preds coach Barry Trotz likes Grant's physical play and all-round game, even if he does have to eliminate the bad penalties he took on Thursday.
--Trotz said Friday he needs Jones to be better at making some of the routine plays, like getting the puck out of the Nashville zone cleanly and avoiding turnovers."

If you read the postgame report from the Tennessean, Trotz really liked Grant's game and I think he is to blame a little bit for the penalties. Trotz told him to come up here and bring a little "Smashville" into the game. [he was actually quoted as saying that] HERE is the article

From reading that another story I pretty much gathered that his game plan has been for the Arnott line to provide the offense, the Legwand line to provide the shut down d, the 3rd line to skate until the Arnott line has had ther breather, and for the 4th line to hand out water bottles. That isnt gonna work for long.
