NHL CI Online (Archive Question)

How long does it take before they archive their games?

I've been watching the free preview and the service is great, and the quality is very solid. The only problem is that i've heard that they dont archive the games for a day or two after. The streaming site im currently paying for has them archived less than an hour or so after...the quality isnt as good, but atleast they give u access to the games ASAP.

Anyone help?

When I called them last week, they said 48 hours. None were up until a day or two ago, but all the Pens games I checked were up and looked good. Not sure how short the gap is now though.

Anyone else have any idea? Thanks for the above tip...kind of just confirms what i was thinking.

I dont really get why it could possibly take them so long. Such a big draw back to there service if you ask me, especially when they charge hundreds of dollars. How hard could it be to post the game immediately?

I don't think it is the technical aspect of it. I think it has to do with contract's and who actually owns the rights to show the game and such.

Yeah, it is very sweet if you have a good enough connection to avoid buffering.
