Fire Coach Todd McLellan! Alarm! Alarm!

This team will not be winning any cups with Todd McLellan behind the bench. Our players are not talking and communicating enough with each other. That there, is alarming. McLellan doesn't react great in the playoffs, not even during regular season games. But we gotta focus on our playoff run.

McLellan shows weakness behind the bench, when something weird happens on the ice. We all seen it happen. He is so young, naive and doesn't have enough of that Man Spirit to tell what he really wants from our diva type of players. We do have players that act like diamond divas, you have to know that, right? Heatley, even Thornton at times, even Patty... Not many teams have so many playing in their two top lines. We need a coach like Tortorella or Pat Quinn, Pat Burns, Mike Keenan, or something like that.

But the first thang that strikes me to the most, is the fact that our players are not talking the talk. There is something weird going on with the team. Last season we had so many players talking and showing real, pure emotion. Now it just looks like a "team", full of robotic, cold, millionares, getting paid, getting points. Wow.

Fire Todd McLellan now, and after that we might even have a chance. Right now, we are walking the wrong path. We will fail with MC, and I will tell you later that I told ya.

I doubt that Wilson can collect another scalp before his number is called.

Oh noes! The sky is falling! The sky is falling!!!!

Sorry Scarface, I don't see McLellan out there on D or between the pipes. I think you're still sore over the fact Lemieux didn't play much in the playoffs (not that there were that many games).

Yikes.

On ice communication is something that can be worked on and improved, without much hoopla.

Cmon, don't start calling for the coaches head. Unless this whole season fails there is no reason to fire the T-Mac. Have you guys ever thought of some little thing called team chemistry? That is our number 1 problem right now, coaches only have a limited affect on that.

you've got to be kidding me!?!

man Scarface.. the content of your posts has really degraded to just spewing rediculous comments for the sake of... what, I dont know.

Whats really going on man!? You alright? Maybe you just need to get out more, maybe have alittle Mr. Scarface time

The Todd is doin fine.. everything will be fine. I half expected this kind of start after the "Core Overhaul" during the summer. And we're only 3 games into the season for gods sake!!

People in all sports put way too much value into what coaches do. They aren't on the ice, period. As long as there aren't rampant personality clashes, coaches are fine. NHL teams are way too reactionary with coach hiring and firing.

I look at Tmacs timing as being coach with the Sharks as some what transitional. He'll either take the team to the finals or the team will start to digress backwards
(e.g. the Senators) - really, the same first round playoff loss won't be accepted and GM Wilson is serious about tweeking to get past that. Much of this will be DWs doing in changing the roster as noted for this season, and dare i say next season.

I agree that you can't place to much on him as coach as the GM and players have alot of accountability for sure. As a result i don't think Tmac is going anywhere anytime soon. First up to go is GM Wilson and probally at least one expensive goalie (in the next 10 months).

The roster has turned over about 50% from last season, it will take some time for this team to gell, come together, whatever you want to call it. I still think we'll know how far they have to go in this area after 20 games in to the season. By then they should all get the system and be able to execute it during games. Any success or lack there of will be a result of not haveing the right players in the mix
(read as skills, talents, roles, etc.).

Sometimes I think you've got issues, but yet I still read your posts. I think this thread should be renamed, "Lemmy isn't coming back! Alarm! Alarm!"

I love issues, they cool.

And I thought coach coala coke cuteface MC was cool........ but he ain't. He gone soon. Hiring a rookie coach was surprising and going with him straight to the fire... is stupid. He is still learning and doing some weird mistakes. It's not like Tortorella, Quinn, Keenan and Burns are doing mistakes. They know the game.
