Where is your favorite place to sit in the Tank?

Do you have a favorite section because of the view? the people? the value?

I thought of making this thread after the Teal & White game. I was sitting in section 109 row 9. Absolutely some of the worst seats I've ever sat in at a hockey game -- and I can't believe how much they cost. I'd much rather be in $18 seats. The 109, 9 seats were looking through the top of the glass which made you either want to sit way up in your chair or duck down so you can see through the normal part of the glass, or over it. Either way, I can't imagine having season tickets there!

So where do you like to sit in the tank?
Cost not a factor
for 1 game: On the glass, behind the net (not directly)
for 44 games: Center Ice, lower bowl, at least 15 rows back

Cost a factor (looking for best value)

For 1 game: last row, corner, lower bowl.
For 44 games: Upper Bowl, last row. Love the view from up there. and i love being able to stand up without worrying about the folks behind me.

Cost not a factor:

1 game- On the glass, around the faceoff dot or about 5 seats to teh side of being directly behind the net in the attack zone.
44 games- Same, that would be awesome.

Cost a factor:

1 game- 2nd row center ice upper bowl behind players
44 games- end zone, attack zone, section 206-210 rows 1-10 or so

My favorite seats are in 101 rows 10-20, thats where I always sit at the teal and white game.

My seats are in 202, They are pretty nice for the second price level.

honestly ive sat all over the place and dont really have a prefferance. i like sitting down low right where the $100 seats turn into $70 seats because youre close to the action but i also like sitting higher where i can see the opposite goal line. thats one of the benefits of buying single game tix you end up whereever.

I would love to sit in those too. Would be nice to have done it when Pronger was a duck

upper bowl, parallel to the goal line where the Sharks attack twice. Honestly, you can't see anything sitting down at the glass.

I got to have those tickets once, they were a bday gift from McAfee (used to work for them)... back when they had their name on the ice. I got to see Detroit v. Sharks.

(sharks won 2-1. I got a puck from the ref tending the fridge between the first and the second periods that ultimately wound up being the game winner, thanks to steve yzerman breakin' up nabby's shutout late in the third. Niko Dimitrakos... heh.)

I really like sitting on the first/second row of the upper bowl also, not terribly picky about where...

Sections 203-213 are totally perfect for me. Great view with the sharks attacking twice in the game.

If money isnt a problem, I would sit about 15 rows up in the lower bowl, in sections 106-110.

I like my seats now, 110 row 24, though I would like to move them closer to behind the goal

I know what you were talking about with the seats that you don't know whether you need to sit tall and look over the glass or crouch and look below the glass. I had a seat like that for the Ducks game 1 last year and although being close was awesome that was a little annoying

My Sharkpak seats are in 203 (been there for 3 years now). Right down the goal line. Great view of goals and ice. If I had my choice I'd be down towards the bottom (rows 1-5) of the upper deck in that same section.

The last row is also pretty good. I sat there for the playoffs last year. You can lean to your hearts content and even stand up.

115, Row 10, center of the section with no one sitting out my group's immediate right or left.

I imagine the 115 concourse suite (not the bird's nest penthouse suites) would be my favorite, but I've never experienced it.

I'm very happy with our seats - 107, 4th row, just to the right of the goal...high enough to see the back of the goal frame, low enough to see all the way down the ice through the glass...sacrificing seeing the action at the far end in much detail in return for lots of in-close action, seeing the puck coming right at us, seeing the Sharks score and celebrate, seeing the scrums around the crease...oh boy, it starts tonight!

I like first row of the second deck. Section 204 or 203 is nice. I've sat in the lower bowl, about 15 rows back, and it was way better sitting first row in the second bowl. The game is still fast, but you are able to see plays developing a little better.

My Shark pack seats have been in 212/213 the last couple years and I love (lots of good season ticket holders around us last year too). I would be happy keeping those. Sitting on the glass is awesome, I don't know if I'd want it all year though. If cost were no factor I would probably pick lower bowl in the corner, a row about halfway up (15ish). I like being in the corners a lot, Sharks attack twice side, maybe slightly towards center ice (along the goal line).

But I like my upper bowl seat

Cost not a factor
Section 213 Row 16

Cost a factor
Section 213 Row 16

On the goal line where the Sharks shoot twice, high enough to see the entire play, people at the game that want to be there.

No finer seat in the tank than where I am. Have been to over 300 Sharks games in SJ, haven't ever sat downstairs for one, no reason to start now.

Section 107 Row 23 on the Aisle (Now if I could have my friend Jarvis' seats right behind me on the wall I would take those)

I have had season tickets in 210 row 12, 209 row 12 (They moved us from 210 to 209 without notifying us until it was too late, but that's another story), 117 row 17, 112 row 19 and now 107 Row 23. I wouldn't want to move from where I am.

Cost a factor

At this point if I could not afford these tickets I would probably just go to games here and there getting the best I could afford or get my hands on. Regardless they would always be on the side the Sharks attack twice somewhere between 103 and 113.

Sitting on the glass in a corner once a year would be cool. Sat there a couple times. Nice to be that close to the Ice here and there.

I think my mom sat either 1 row in front of you or two rows for about a year, 107 is right behind the goal correct?

Yeah, dead center aisle. Had to be 2 rows. I've known the couple in front of me for years and they had their first baby last year.

Ya I dont remember the row but it was two aisle seats in 107, 20 something though if I remember correctly. I wish we still had them but she moved to OKC and I needed 4 together so I moved to 110.
