Your Josh Bailey Predictions

So, go out on a limb, tell me what kind of season you think Josh Bailey will have. Does he play on the top six? Does he play with Taveres or Okposo? Does he finally learn how to shoot? What do you think his point totals will be?

I see Josh sharing a 1a 1b with Weight, with the majority of his time being played with Okposo. I am not sure if he will break out this year, so my careful side says he will score 15/30/45.

I have him at about 12/29/41 which is a pretty good improvement, I want to see who he has the best chemistry with.

I think he'll get top six minutes on a line with Okposo.
13 goals,25 assists.

I actually like him a lot...I believe he will be 70 pt guy 2-3 years. For this year 18 g 30 assists around 45-50 points and improving in key areas like faceoffs. I hope he shoots more this year too - think he has good snapshot and has good hockey sense.

im going to say between 8-10 goals and 25-30 assist, 30- 40 points. I think more than 10 goals this season is a reach, unless he really improved his shot and his confidence in shooting. He is a pass first guy and is only 19. I think his goal scoring touch will take another full season if not more.

He could use more shooting, but thats not necessarily his game. He was some sweet passing and thats where his strength lies.

10-27-37.

It's going to be a steady upward curve for him over the next couple of years. Afte 25 points last year, he'll be more accustomed to the NHL this year and get 30. Next year, I would expect around 45-50 etc.

Better than last year. I think he'll play most of the season with Okposo and another winger until the trade deadline/injuries start taking their toll. I won't venture into stat predictions as I'm pretty crap at that sort of thing.

Hopefully 12-15 goals and 25-30 assists. I would like to see him jump from 25 pts to about 40 and work on his faceoffs and improve in that area as well.

Chicken salad at noon with a Pepsi, no chips. You can bank on it.

My Bailey prediction is that people will complain he's not Filatov.

Actually, I think Filatov will be a modest disappointment in Columbus. I say "modest disappointment" because I think his eventual impact will be closer to a more driven Zheredev than to a Ovenchicken/Malkin (where some seem to be projecting him).

What's that have to do with people complaining?

You've been on these boards since when? Pfft.
