Hmm, the thunder didn't sound real close to me in North Oakland. Must have been around me but not here. My friends in SF said it was really f-ing loud near them. Stupid rain still woke me up though.

Was it me or did we not have the yearly awards for this forum? I ask because training camp starts very soon and I thought that was something that was done in the offseason. Just curious, thanks.

So I just opened a garage door by lifting it. It didn't really have any back pressure aside from the weight of the door. The problem is that it was an automatic garage door. Now it is off the "track" I guess, I try and turn it on and it just makes noise but doesn't catch.

Is it broken or were they smart enough to make a something that prevents an idiot like me from breaking the door in this kind of situation.

Edit: Nevermind, fixed.

Just more reason to put solar on your house if you're an owner.

In part the rates are going up because insurance isn't paying out (or as much) and/or decreasing coverage when they can get it.

Did anyone watch the US Open today? If not, you missed an awesome between-the-legs shot by Federer to set up match point. Youtube probably coming soon.

The 21 dancers are deaf-mutes (keep together based on signals from handlers in corners of stage).

Apparently she yelled at some judge for calling a foot foul on her which wasn't even a foot foul.
