But ya, it all depends on what happens with Heatley i guess. If he was back and happy, Sens would be the offensive powerhouse once again. Actually 08-09 was an anomally; they finished 1st, 2nd and 1st in scoring between 05-06 and 07-08

8 Teams voted in and another 10 to chose from. So the Dallas Stars will have the 19th ranked offense, at best, in the National Hockey League.
Boy will HF be in for a rude awakening..
Polls at HF = pointless.
They were 20th last season in goals for and did nothing to improve themselves over the off season. I don't think it's that crazy of an idea. And don't complain about injuries, every team has them.

Ah, gotcha. So every team lost it's captain and top blueliner for pretty much an entire season, and then some.
The Stars nearly had 400 man-games lost due injury last season. You can disregard the injury-excuse all that you want, but the injuries were significant and ultimately did the Stars in.
The Stars have a much better forward pack than 19th, and should be in before the likes of Vancouver or Calgary.
Remember that offense doesn't solely come from forwards.
To me this was a tie between Anaheim and Vancouver, when you factor in Vancouver's offense from their defense. The homer in me made me vote for the Canucks, obviously.
I'm laughing at the Ottawa fans in this thread though that think the Sens are way better offensively overall. You have a one-line forward group, and a defense with like a single 40-point guy in Kuba.
