Saw a guy a lot like that at one of the music/art festivals in a park downtown this summer. I think we were calling him chicken man - great entertainment.
I'm just happy Roy had the opportunity to participate in this camp. Playing with and against that many great players can only make Roy a better player, himself. Obviously, making Team Canada means a lot to him. I think we'll see a high level of play from him early in the season as he auditions for Team Canada. Hopefully, this will help him avoid the slow starts he's been plagued by.

Not sure when the first round of cuts are, but he's certainly going to be among the first to go.
iu thought Roy looked pretty good at LW last night, he didnt look overmatched one bit and exceled on quite a few rushes...Marty robbed him on that backhander.

Well sure, assuming they don't just select the team and everyone is cut at the same time, that may be true. I still think Roy is better than several of the forwards who were invited (Cleary, Lucic, Sharp, among others) and it is telling that Hockey Canada thought highly enough of him to invite him to the camp over several players who carry higher profiles around the league (Savard, Richards, Briere, and initially Spezza). An honor any way you look at it.
I think that the camp will help him get back on track, especially considering the fact that his role in camp has him playing a more straightforward, defensive style, instead of trying to dangle through 7 skaters.
