I was 5 years old when the 1979 cup was won and I was bouncing around excited with childhood energy. In 1986 it was sweet to put my feet up and just bask in the championship. But, 1993 with all the OT's and the team taking us so high with knucle biting games again and again...I never thought they'd win the cup and when they did it was overwhelming. Yes, I shed a tear. One of joy. I doubt any fan will ever experience such cliffhangers (as many) in one run.
Montréal lost to Ottawa in a ******** reffing and I went to smash my fist against the table and forgot a dish was there and hit that.
When I was really young, Montréal was tied with the Rangers in Ot. Gretzky set up behind the net, passed it out front to Robitaille who scored. From then on I hated Luc and I cried.
No, but I was kinda emotional when we win 6-5 over the Rangers. For Saku's return too!
I've never broken things for I'm frustrated because of the habs, but don't even try to start a conversation with me, I'm mad for the rest of the evening (a lot of cr*ss, cal*iss, ost*e, c*bo*re, calva*re and t*b*rn*k ).
Watching that "Farewell Saku" video on youtube, I definitely shed a tear...okay, a few tears
When I was younger, watching the Habs vs Bruins series (back when Habs were 8th seed and Bruins were 1st...back in like 01-02), I remember crying after Game 2, cursing Byron Dafoe.
I think I was 5 at the time. My Dad told me he'd try and get tickets to a game. I was excited for weeks, but when I found out he couldn't get tickets I was pretty upset. Bratty move on my part.
In grade 8, there was a Detroit fan badmouthing the Canadiens. His best friend, a Montreal fan, walked over to him and punched him in the head. It didn't affect their friendship and I can't remember if he cried or not.
The funny thing is the Montreal fan hated french people (I know stupid) but was fanatical about their team. (couldn't find scratch head smilie to put here. oh well)

This is what is cool with me.
Before the game, I'm a bit nervous, no matter the issue of this one.
During the game: Don't try to talk to me, or at least, tell me something if you want as long as it isn't too long.
After the game: I'm all right.
It's during the game that things get intense. But after, I'm usually ok.
