Be patient while I fix up the reserved posts. It's a lot of information I've gathered and worked on for you guys.
Also, I just wanted to thank everyone for voting in this year's polls. This is by far the most votes we've gotten for these polls, at least in my 3 years of doing it. Whether there's more activity because of Tavares or not, it doesn't matter. We got over 90 votes in 1 day for like the first 10 polls, which has never even come close to happening.
So thank you guys. You made this year the best year so far. And I guess we'll do it all over in 2010.
EDIT: All done, guys. Enjoy.

What strikes me is the amount of prospect depth the Isles have compared to past years. Some of those HM-caliber prospects would undoubtedly be in the top-25 years ago.

wow, amazing job...this is something that really popped out at me, that i didnt see last year for some reason
Line 1: Kyle Okposo, Josh Bailey, Kirill Petrov
that COULD be insane...or swap bailey for JT and then opposing teams would have some issues defending that line for years to come...if only petrov could get his arse over here
btw, 2/3 of 2006's top line is gross...o'marra as the top rated center...jeez. and that defense?! wow the prospect pool has grown exponentially in both depth and talent
The bolded players are NHL starters on the Islanders as opposed to other teams which is a good sign. The rebuild from within is on...

Damn, amazing how much better our pool is. Especially on defense. We have a legit top end guy in de Haan and some real good players like Ness, Katic, and Hamonic who have legit shots. Jack Hillen will be a regular and graduate. Obviously results are what count, but progress is being made.

you like jack hillen? i hope, at the most, that he's a place holder until they get a little more size.

Agreed. There are a lot more "warm bodies" on that list than in previous years. Quite a few future NHL'ers of varying degrees IMHO (not all of whom will ultimately play for us of course). Not spectacular (Tavares aside)- but for the first time in awhile... respectable.
Thanks Isles4ever11!! Great work!
