That was never more apparent than this year when the right-winger/left-winger was front and centre for a special event held through the NHLPA’s Goals & Dreams fund. The players’ program has donated full sets of hockey equipment to more than 13,000 economically disadvantaged children and assisted with upgrades and the building of hundreds of arenas, in 19 countries world-wide, including Australia, Bosnia, Canada, Czech Republic, Latvia, Scotland, Slovakia, South Africa, Sweden and the United States.
