Wild or North Stars
Which name would you guys prefer? I prefer the North Stars. I know this could create confusion with the Dallas Stars but who cares I think the North Stars had a better name and uniform. Don't get me wrong I love the symbol of the Wild, but I do not like the jersey's. Anyways what do you guys as fans think of the current team name, is it....

Personally, I prefer the North Stars. It had a woodsy mystique about it; perfect name for a hockey team.

My family didn't watch hockey besides the 1980 Olympics, so I didn't watch any North Stars games or hockey in general. When the Wild got their team back in 2000, I thought I would entertain a game, there was nothing else on at the time. Well I have been a fan ever since. I think it is awesome to be a fan of a franchise from its beings, to its lows to ultimately the very high in winning the Cup hopefully. I respect the North Stars, and it was a shame that carpet bagging son of a ***** cheated the hockey fans of Minnesota and moved the team to Dallas. But I feel connected with the Wild so they are my choice.

I think that the name Wild is fine but the logo and/or colors could use some work.

I think the Wild logo is great, one of my favorites. Don't care for that shade of green on their jerseys though.

i like the north stars logo. no offense but i think the wild logo/colours are among the worst in the nhl.

The NS logo was pretty damn cool. I agree though, the Wild could use a new logo and/or colors.
