With the Habs, he was among the last cuts at training camp at least 2 times, so he was entering a season as the 15th or 16th forward on the depth chart. Unfortunately for him, during his 4 seasons in the Habs organization, the Habs had a lot of great prospects so they decided to callup guys that might had more potential like Grabovski, the Kostitsyns, Lapierre and Chipchura so he never got a chance.
It's understandable that Montreal didn't have room for him, but I still think he should get a chance. Honestly, I don't know much about him, and I hadn't heard of him until he came to the Pack this season. However, if a player is putting up these kinds of numbers it can't hurt, especially with two of our centers out.

Other than Prospal, no one else can win a face off. None of the other options seem to be providing much offense and you cant ask any more of Locke in the AHL. Corey Locke deserves a shot. He has earned the opportunity.

Okay, now I know I'm probably the only one who gets the hard physical copy of the Hartford Courant here, but today's "story" was the biggest joke I've ever seen. I couldn't even find it at first. It was literally a small strip of the sports page. Really wish the Courant would find the time and energy to send one reporter to the games or try to cover them a little more in depth. I know, I know, they're having problems and have cut staff, I know that more than anyone being a journalism student in Connecticut. I also know that covering hyper-local events is the ticket these days. I don't want to read tons of wire stories in the Courant.
