Kadri can play all 3 forward positions so if he doesn't make the team it wont be because he only played center.

Anything else you can tell me about his play this year, living on the west-coast you don't see many Q games(especially when you only have basic cable). I really was impressed by him in the Canucks camp, thought he showed a lot of poise and provided a nice physical presence.

Also, can you tell me anything about Steven Anthony's play this year? I know he has been putting up good stats but that always doesn't tell the whole truth about his play.
Sauve started off a little slow when coming back for NHL camp but has really stepped it up lately. I think he just needs a little bit more of a physical game and he will be a real force. He is good on everything, but if he step up a little bit more to get that "big" hit then his name would be tossed around more.

All the Sea Dog defense are doing great this season tho.

Anthony has been good all season. We figured he would have a bigger role, but with Nick Peterson and Mike Hoffman comming back (both 20 years olds who wernt expected to come) he got bumped to 2nd line by default. However on a stacked Sea Dog team he is putting up points well playing good 2-way hockey. Being 18 means he can use his size and speed more and the experience fromt he previous 2 "learning years" has shown in this one.

Yeah Anthony was a stellar 7th round pick by the Canucks.

It's too bad he's not on the radar of Hockey Canada, not that I think he would be talented enough to make the WJ team.

Kadri's early struggles are going to force him to need a real strong evaluation camp to secure his spot. Far from a certainty at his point.
Did you just copy and past this post from the Leafs forum?

He can play all three positions. But he's a true centermen. When plays the wing he tends to roam.

Henrique can also play centre or wing and is third in ohl scoring. He has been one of windsor's most consistent players and if kadri keeps struggling then henrique could beat him out for a spot.

What do you guys think Stefan Elliotts chances of making the team are? He has 23 points in 24 games which is good for 2nd amoung WHL defencemen. He's also 2nd in the league with plus 21.

I think Henrique has to make the team over Kadri at this point and I'm a Leafs fan. Henrique has just been so more consistent and dependable. Kadri seems to much like he's trying to be something he's not, and has taken too many foolish penalties.

Henrique also plays his best hockey when it matters most (close games/playoffs/Mem Cup). I think Hockey Canada has to be looking at that when making their evaluations.

What about Brandon Gormley, He's been nothing short of outstanding this year for Moncton and his drtaft stock is going through the roof. He would be a great PP quarterback for this team.

Ryan Ellis if healthy will have that spot. Ellis's wrist injury according to Spits fans is still bothering him.

A great PP QB, but the guy is just as good defensively, you can't go wrong.

I'm sure there are a bunch of 19 year olds who could do the job, but if Canada wants to mold a dman who can definitely handle the work and give him experience, Gormley is can do it.

I agree, if I'm Hockey Canada. I take Henrique over Kadri every single time.

I'm telling you guys Brandon McMillan is making our World Junior team. He's one of the best skaters and is a great two way player.

Also someone asked about Kyle Beach. Just forget about him. Hockey Canada doesnt like him and he doesnt like Hockey Canada.
