I think both will be great but I just think the 3rd round was a bit high for him IMO.

I was referring to that hilarious thread. Don't look now though, Peverley has 16 points in 11 games and has been playing on the 3rd line. The guy is awsome. His 1.3M cap hit for the next 3 years helps a lot too.

To be quite honest I don't think Canon is a first round quality fantasy player (I expect 60-70 points from him annually), but there is only 1 player I would rather have as my foundation for a franchise in the real NHL (Ovechkin, obviously). Richie brings more than just amazing playmaking ability. He is the best defensive forward in the league (league bias towards the Wings stole the Selke from him last year), he is a great leader by example and he can litterally carry a team on his back when they are down.
He lays big hits, figts, scores, sets up plays, plays the PP (can even play as a dman on the PP), plays the PK - the only facet of his game that isn't incredible are his faceoff abilities, which I actually wish he would start working on.
Anyway, my point is, they may be equals fantasy wise, but there is MUCH more to the real NHL.
And if you were joking then I apologize, but I have a severe man crush on my captain.

I m ok, notthing serious but my car is ****. I was Turning on a green turning on yellow light at arround 35-40 km/hours. and then bang. The other car was going 70-80 km per hour going straight at me. My car is so totaled, reck. I just can t believe it.
And I even went by ambulance to the Hospital. They mobolize my neck bla bla.

Those are the reasons why he is undoubtably my favorite player, playing right now. I wanted to pick him but my pick was just too high and i agree his talents do not translate as well as others into fantasy hockey.
