I can't believe Boston's list has Cam Neely ahead of Milt Schmidt, Phil Esposito and Johnny Bucyk
don't forget most of the voters on that baord are probably between 1- and 30 yrs of age and know little about the history of their team that's why I posted the link here.
Yeah that's to bad especially with Esposito. Neely was a great Bruin and should be in any Bruin's top 10 list but Esposito should be #5 at the worst.
See, I liked Neely, I really did, but he is without a doubt, one of the most overrated players I have ever seen, especially by his own fan base. He is no where near the 4th best Bruin of all-time. On the other hand, from a Bruins perspective, Park, Oates, Middleton and Ratelle don't get the love they deserve. On my all-time list, I'd have them all ahead of Neely. I'm not sure Neely would even make my top 15 list amongst Bruins.
PS: An even bigger joke is O'Reilly at #10.

I tried to do my part in the B's vote early on last year. Trying to get Shore ahead of Ray was not going to happen, (I'm actually happy/surprised that he got in at 3rd.
After Cam, (who most the regulars here know I love, unquestionable Hall of Famer), was voted in ahead of Espo and Milt I just gave up.

Damned youngins skewing a vote.
Don't worry, we have current youngin Hab fans who think Koivu's number should be retired. I actually feel sorry for them. They had very little opportunity to see what true greatness in a Habs uniform actually meant.
Damn, I just reminded myself of my father when he would lecture me on the greatness of Richard, Beliveau, Plante and Harvey vs my favourites of the 70's and 80's.
Is "youngins" a real term? I think it's just a misspelling of "young 'uns" but maybe I'm wrong.
No offense Joe, just an internet pet peeve of mine. Not nearly as irritating as people saying "common" when they mean "c'mon" or "come on".
No offense taken, but I never knew young 'uns' was a word and that there was a proper spelling for it? I think either term is a bastardization of the proper 'young ones'. Youngins, young 'uns' or whatever are not proper English and are equally unacceptable or acceptable.
