Hey burghs, is it a real pain in the butt to include average time on ice as one of the stats for the monthly breakdowns? Or is it not located readily in the area where you get all those stats? It would be interesting to see the kind of icetime/load that is put on these players to see just how much of a role they're playing on these teams.
I would if there were any. The QMJHL site at least has stats for hits and faceoffs but no TOI. The other leagues only have the standard stuff.
Disappointing. Not doing any favours for themselves.
Nice way for us to weed out the flakes if they can't turn it around though.
So, without naming names I assume the targets there are Alex Grant and Casey Pierro-Zabotel? Disappointing indeed. However, there's plenty of time to turn it around. Both could be interesting trading chips for us later this season if they improve.

Haddad got sent down too, though you'd think that he's probably the least likely to have a chip on his shoulder, being an undrafted long-shot.

Can't really say I'm surprised. HF/HFBoards has been over-rating Alex Grant ever since he was drafted. I tried showing a bit of light but oh well.
I wouldn't toot my own horn too much just yet. It's still way too early to write-off any of those guys. It isn't good news though.
Oh I'm not tooting my horn and I'm definitely not counting Grant out but some people viewed him as a piece of the puzzle in 3 years(from the time he was drafted).
He's a project at best and that's still going to take a few more years.
Is this something to worry about or do most defenseman take a lot of minors in Juniors? I looked at Letang's numbers and in his first two seasons he put up over 100 pims. Marc Edouard Vlasic however took a lot less.
Thanks for the highlights, always much appreciated. How has Galiev looked so far in his rookie season in the Q? Also, Petersen seems to be quite the classic opportunistic scorer from the Q. He reminded me a little of, dare I say it, Michel Ouellet, in those highlights.
Moon seems a bit streaky. Hes puting up decent numbers but since hes older than a lot of ppl in the OHL i would have hoped for even bigger numbers tbh. right now hes around a PPG guy, lets hope he continues his recently found point touch and finsihes around 1.5 PPG wich i think he should be able to get.
