Ummm....what did this draft include?? Who could be selected??
Because the update is 4g 7a in 6 games (was scoreless in 6th, that was his total in 5 games as well)

This is the the SEL, against grown men, he is a stud and ready to break out big time.

We, in Chicago, hope he really is a stud..can't think of any home-grown Euros that we've had that turned out...Nice surprise to this point...

Sure. Thomas Gradin... but you traded him. 31 years ago.

Niklas Hjalmarsson isn't too bad, is he?

Lulea 2 Djurgardens 2 midway thru the second.

Kruger with the lone assist on Engqvist's tying goal moments ago.

0+2 for Krüger today I think, he was robbed (as of now) of an assist with the last goal but i'm sure they'll fix it

While it has nothing to do with Kruger's development, here is a comprehensive list of every Swede who has ever put on a Hawks jersey

Michael Nylander
Nicklas Hjalmarsson
Samuel Pahlsson
Ulf Dahlen
Anders Eriksson
Roger Johansson (11 games)
Magnus Johansson (18 games)
Jonas Nordqvist (3 games)

Thats right, Hjalmarsson is the second greatest Swede in Blackhawks history

Looks like they gave him the assist, putting him back on top.

does anyone know Kruger's contract status with DIF, and whether Chicago has said anything about his progress?

Also, with Engqvist on his line, is he really playing left wing? I see him more as a center in the NHL.

All 3 (Josefson, Engqvist and Krüger) are really centers. It's a special line

Wow, this line is very impressive. Seems to be a steal from the Hawks and I hope you guys that Kruger become a star. As a Habs fan, I'm really happy with the Engqvist signature this summer. A 6'3'' 200lbs right handed center playing in the slot and scores, that's what we need since ........ If Andreas becomes 1/2 as Jeff Carter, I'll be really happy with that. Both seems to have the same style but Carter is a hell of a player. Kostitsyn over him in 2003

Silence on this thread for 3 weeks. He has certainly cooled down.

It will be interesting to see how he plays on the small ice this week in Canada.

It's not surprising. But he still is over PPG, 18 pts in 16 games.
