Reminds me of the Wings game against either the Pens or the Hawks - can't remember which - where the team had 6 guys on the ice IN THE PLAY for 20-30 seconds and no one noticed.

The worst reffed game I have seen in a while. Just absolutely brutal for both sides.

This.

It was horrible reffing.

The Habs first goal was on a PP that was on a questionable call (refs make mistakes, so it is easy to live with that even).

The Habs second goal is scored after the puck hits the netting, bounces back down into play.

Then you could try to make a case that Colorado's third goal was caused by a questionable hit, but I think it was legal.

Then there was a ton of things that should have been called both ways that weren't, like Moen's tackle on Svatos.

What are you going to do though. Refs make mistakes and its part of the game. You just don't expect a game to have this much questionable reffing.

Then of course there is the 7-5 at the end of the game, I didn't catch it at first but it explains the sudden pressure in the last 30 seconds, and I noticed it in the replays and stuff

According to this: http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreport...0/TH020082.HTM

these Canadiens were on the ice for the final shift:
Spacek
Cammalleri
Plekanec
Gionta
Gorges
Kostitsyn
Gomez

Does this mean that they officially all actually were there and that's totally ok by NHL?

7 players on the ice without scoring a goal. That's pretty hilarious.

That's hilarious. I was watching the game live and I didn't even notice.

Kind of embarrassing for the Canadiens considering they were pretty close to outnumbering Colorado two to one and still weren't able to score. Even funnier when you look at the pic and you realize how close that scrum at the end of the game was to ending in a goal.

They have like four guys right near the net. It's amazing they didn't score.

For some reason I thought it was 7 on 4 when I typed that. Still, that's pretty bad.

Actually there were 6 referees on the ice at the end of the game as well!

And one of the zambonis!

Mass hysteria!

Quennville's philosophy was that any team that can't score on a full 5-on-3 opportunity doesn't deserve to win the game. I wonder what 7-on-4's deserve?

That's pretty funny, though. I can understand bad officiating when it swings both ways. Clearly the refs weren't playing favorites, they were just quite drunk on the ice.

It was 7 on 4 for a second, then Tucker's penalty expired, and you can see him jump into the play to make it 7-on-5.

It would have been priceless to see the post-goal scrum if they'd scored.
