More offensive power... oh boy... cannot wait for next season.
Anyone know what happened to his Scholarship that he had accepted?

I haven't seen official news of Bemidji dropping their program just yet, although I am aware such is/was being considered. If you have a link about the BSU dropping its men's hockey program, please share that.

As for Aaron Lewadniuk, he was very impressive early at the Fall Classic last season. The first USHL game season I saw last season, was Omaha's first game at the Fall Classic and Lewadniuk displayed some speed, offensive skills, and some physical play far above his listed size. But, over the course of the season, he was hit and miss. He never impressed me as much as he did in that first game, the first time I saw him play, but he's a talented player for sure. A little more muscle and a more consistent effort would help him become a very good player.

I certainly wish Lewadniuk well in Brandon this season, and will follow with interest on how he does in major juniors. Aaron certainly has a future in the minor pro ranks, but a solid season in the WHL just might earn him a two-way contract from an NHL team. It'd be great to see that occur and, again, best of luck to Lewadniuk with the Wheat Kings!

I knew the kid has some promising side to him. 1-2 lines at the moment are looking good.
Glennie-Schenn-Calvert
Lowry-Clark-Lewadnuik?

He has been described to me as good wheels, good hands, grittier than Dittmer, not as gritty as Clarky, better scorer than Clarky, not as pure a scorer as Dittmer. I also heard his summer workout regime hasn't been as rigourous as it should have been, so will likely take a little while to get up to speed....
