I think that was a really good trade for the Spirit as well... i think Don Edwards was thinking about those 2 high draft picks he just acquired for his team that is out of the running this year, the West is dominated by 5 teams, and he knows to get to the finals he would have to knock off 3 of them, last year and the year before were their years to win, and they didn't do it, they're reloading and they might be thinking about the goaltender who was 16 up untill 2 weeks ago with high potential they gain in Pasquale since they're lacking depth in the net after this year he will be their starter for the next 2 years after Daniels leaves. This is one of those benefit both temas deals, the Bulls gain some talent for right now, and a very solid back-up, and the Spirit gain a goaltender for the future, and 2 high picks.

Saginaw got fleeced.

Mursak or Williams alone could have brought two high picks and a player of Taylor's calibre. A lot of teams need defencemen, there could have been a pretty good bidding war for Williams.

Pasquale is obviously the big piece going to Saginaw, and although he does have potential to be a great goalie, at this point, he's unproven.

Saginaw wasn't even able to grab a 2nd round pick. They better hope their scouts do a good job, because that 3rd round in 08, won't even play until the 09-10 season, unless he's good.

I imagine you will see Mursak on the line with Beleskey and Matthias when he comes back after Christmas from Slovenia.
The line of Cameron ,Self and Tanaka have been the most consistent over the last 5 games, I dont think they will be split up.
The Bulls still need a solid second line centre which will probably arrive shortly after christmas or just before the deadline.

Then who centres Tangradi and Turkiewicz in the mean time?

IMO until Matthias and Mursak come back you may see this as the top two lines
Beleskey-Tanaka-Turkiewicz
Self-Cameron -Tangradi
And who knows about the 3rd & 4th line
After the break look for George to make a trade for another centreman possibly an OA.
I think Baker from Sudbury would be a nice pickup he has playoff experience and could probably get him for not alot, maybe trade away a Tront and a pick?

Time will tell
