Overview: The Wings play three games over the next five days in western Canada. With a day off between games, the Wings could start Chris Osgood (4-0) in each game if Hasek isn't ready to return from his hip irritation
Henrik Zetterberg and Pavel Datsyuk aren't the only Wings with an online presence. Forward Aaron Downey, who goes by the nickname Diesel, has teamed up with www.capazoo.com, a social network and entertainment site. Downey plans to update his progress during the season and answer e-mail from fans about life in the NHL. "I just talk about whatever," Downey said. "Sometimes I just answer replies. My brother Trevor's involved in it, too. He's back on the farm" in Shelburne, Ontario.
"It gives him something to do in his spare time. I do all the replies. I figure it's a good way to get out there. Fans want to interact with players. I think it's a good way to grow the game. It's a good way to answer questions." For Downey's page, go to www.capazoo.com/AaronDowney Zetterberg's official site is www.henrikzetterberg.com and Datsyuk's is www.datsyuk13.com
This video is from Norrisnick (I believe that is the NN we know)
Here's hoping for another stellar effort from our front line trio...Henrik gets the attention, and Homer does too (albeit the wrong kind), but Pasha has quietly put together a six-game scoring tear as well. So here's to continuing both Henrik and Pasha's streaks.
I don't know how to make those beautiful graphic pictures like some members do.
So I try get as many info in the GDT as I can
Maybe that can be a new project for me, design some GDT banners...
You do an excellent job with the information. I think the only GDT on par with this is the ones they do over in the Devils forum. That guy goes all out with theirs.

Slightly OT: HF can allow, on a per user basis, posts in HTML. We'd have to request it for you and I guess the guys who do the fancy GDT's would find this most useful. I have no idea how it works (and don't really want to know), but let me know if you're interested and I can find out more.

That would be awesome!
I have no idea how to make them, I remember last year during the playoffs you made one Henrik Zetterberg banner. Something like that would be cool or just a cool picture banner

I also have no idea how to use that, I never worked with that before (maybe it's quit simple)
Hopefully it's largely precautionary. Keep him out now and preserve him down the road. The ice was crap the other night.
Kronwall has minor groin injury; Meech to make season debut
by Ansar Khan
Sunday October 28, 2007, 4:10 PM
Update from the morning skate in Vancouver: Niklas Kronwall has a sore groin and won't play tonight against the Canucks, but it's nothing significant, coach Mike Babcock said. Babcock said Kronwall would have been able to play had it been a playoff game and he'll likely practice Monday and play Tuesday in Edmonton.
He'll be replaced by Derek Meech, who'll make his season debut. Meech will be paired with Chris Chelios. Brett Lebda will replace Kronwall as Andreas Lilja's partner.
Other than that, the lineup remains the same from Friday's game. Dallas Drake has been cleared to play but, for now, has slipped below Matt Ellis and Aaron Downey in the pecking order. Johan Franzen (sprained knee) said he will be ready to play Tuesday. If so, the Wings will need to clear a roster spot. They can put Dominik Hasek on injured reserve, retroactive to last Wednesday, or they can send Jimmy Howard back to Grand Rapids, if Hasek is ready to go.
Chances are, Hasek (irritated hip) won't be ready for Tuesday, since he didn't skate on Sunday. There's no need to rush him back and they'll surely want to have him practice a couple of times before he plays.
