Anyone know what the future plans are for this forward from Suffolk PAL?

He just got picked by Indiana in the USHL futures draft.

As I understand it he had committed to Mass-Amherst for '06 (?), but then withdrew his committment.

FWIW, Vladimir Nikiforov is still listed on Heisenberg's site (http://members.aol.com/cheisenber/Recruit05.htm) at going to UMass in 06.

He'll be playing with the New York Bobcats of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League this season. I hadn't heard anything about him backing out on the U-Mass commitment.

BTW, does anyone have a clue as to why it's been nearly a month since the Heisenber site has been updated?

I re-read, and apparently mis-read, the article I based my statement about his Amherst pull out. My bad.

Thanks for the link to the Heisenberg site. Tons of information. But do you think he could improve the font on the page, or maybe split the information into separate pages. I don't think I'm going to be able to uncross my eyes!

He is slow at times updating his site (when I can access, which is about half of the time). Fortunately, I can use other sources for info on early commitments (i.e. the USHR site).

For what it's worth I saw this kid play against my brother in mites a long time ago. He was tiny with nasty skills. Going to UMass in '06 along with former teammates of my brother Nick Grasso and James Marcou.
