I did a search and stuff and counldn't find if this question had ever been discussed, apologies if it has been.

Anyone know if there is a list of all time carreer stats for players in international competition? Don't really know what tourneys this would involve, I suppose WC, Canada Cup, World Championships and Olympics?

I ususally consult hockey dB, NHL.com, or TSN, I know none of these has it, and a google search turned up nothing.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Stats from the Olympics and the Canada/World Cup may be hard to find but here are the top 20 all-time scoring leaders from the World Championships. Note that Ivan Hlinka holds the 19th spot with 86 points in 92 games.

thanks!

I had seen that before, I was hoping there was something more b/c a) its from 1998, though I doubt abything had changed at the top since then; and b) it does not go deep enough to see active players, or North Americans (b/c obviously, Europeans played many more games).

Out of the active players today I can think of two that are very good internationally.

Mats Sundin has 81 points in 67 World Cup, Canada Cup, Olympic Games and World Championships games.

Miroslav Satan also has pretty impressive numbers, although some of them are scored when Team Slovakia played in the B-pool.

Looking only at Canada Cup/World Cup there was a guy named Wayne something who played 5 tournaments and amassed 64 (20+44) points in 39 games. He´s probably the leading all-time scorer for this tournament... ;)

Sundin's got a 1.2 PPG average for Sweden? Why can't he play like that for the Leafs :banghead:
