wonsaknight 08-14-2004, 08:22 AM Thanks for the info. I found this write-up and went to BabelFish so that I could read it in English......
..Cannibals also against selection team on top the land hat Cannibals could arrange also their second appearance successful in the preparation on the coming secondary league season. Against the "team pro Select" the Englbrecht troop amazingly freshly appeared despite the training strains during the week and triumphed before 1112 spectators earned with 1:0 (0:0, 1:0, 0:0). Aki Tuominen obtained the victory hit for the Lower Bavaria by force shot in the central section. The teams started without large scanning into the portion, so that the visitors got a speed-rich and substantial conception from the beginning required. Above all the hosts, with whom Youngster Peter Baumgartner for Kamil Toupal took over the part of the sixth defender, came in the first passage to clear chances, however - like already in the play against Schwenningen - some hochkaraetige capital invested possibilities let elapse unused. So against center of the opening third within only few minutes only Thomas Daffner and captain Thomas Schinko (10th minute), little late Aki Tuominen, whose shot of the blue line the very strongly acting guest Goalie Chris Madden could master only with luck, and Zdislaw Zareba. After accurately 15 minutes Cannibals Keeper Nolan McDonald was against Kent McDonell in a 1:1-Situation master of the situation on the other side. Madden saves against dog hammer and after a gloss act of Nolan McDonald in the conclusion minute of the first section found also Zdislaw Zareba in the direct countermove in Madden its master. In the second third the Englbrecht troop was allowed to practice plentifully Powerplay, because the partially nevertheless quite self-willed design of the set of rules by some guest participants did not give to these less than 18 plus 10 (Greg Jacina) punishing minutes alone in this play section, while the hosts took their six. Only once Nolan McDonald stood nevertheless in the focus, could keep clean against Mikhail Namirovsky however its box. Chris Bahen failed in the consequence because of Madden and Baumgartner aimed over the box. The guidance hit seemed in the 31. Minute due, when the Cannibals in the attack third settled and erspielten themselves chances over chances, but twice Rusch and Schinko could not complete. Two minutes later it was then however nevertheless so far: Over Alex Feistl and Thomas Daffner the puck landed with Aki Tuominen and pulled one its feared "Haemmer" off - there also Madden, besides the view was blocked to which, was powerlessly. In the final phase of the central section it went off again lively on and - Tuominen, Schinko, Zareba and Bahen found however in Madden their master, equally Nolan McDonald against Sugden and Jacina showed up on the post. The guests wanted to give themselves with the threatening defeat not contently and went full steam ahead to the conclusion section. Nolan McDonald had to carry accordingly in the initial phase of the last third Schwerstarbeit out. Within only 30 seconds the Canadian saved, as Markus Welz on sides of the hosts on the "Suenderbaenklein" , against down, Milley and Sugden sat, in order to a little later make also a Knight shot of the blue line innocuous. Jacina failed likewise because of McDonald as on the opposite side Bobby Brown with a "Bauerntrick" at Madden. Down and Cameron did not try in the consequence unsuccessfully Nolan McDonald, Alexander Rusch and Thomas Schinko were able it better on the other side to make. Despite numeric inferiority in the conclusion minute the guests took to their Goalie of the ice. Reconciliation did not want to succeed to them nevertheless any longer - rather they had luck not to take still the 0:2 when a shot of Thomas Schinko missed 20 seconds before the conclusion siren its goal only scarcely. - arbitrators: Vogl; Punishing minutes: Cannibals 16, team pro SELECT 36 plus 10.
