:help:
I'm in a bit of a dilemma here. My Draft starts in about half an hour. I have the first overall pick, again. Last year I took Holmes & was very very happy. This year, I'm not sure. I want to take Holmes, but am leaning towards Tomlinson.
Can anybody offer me any help??

Personally, I would take Tomlinson.
I don't think you can go wrong with either.
Tomlinson has age on his side and arguably is a more talented back. Holmes is on a FAR better team and has far more help around him, but is more likely to share carries.
I say go with Holmes. Tomlinson may end up with more yardage, but Holmes is more likely to hit the end zone. Tomlinson, as great as he is, will have a tough time topping 15 TDs. Holmes can hit 25+.
Don't forget about Ahman Green either. I have them 1-2-3 on my board and virtually interchangable.

I want to say Tomlinson, but for some reason I think he is going to have a rough year with injuries. I have no proof of this. It's just a feeling, so I would go with Holmes. They have more weapons on the team to get him in the end zone with more frequency.

Well the Draft is over, and I think I did pretty damn good. I had the 1st overall pick in a 10-team Live Draft. This was a snake draft, so I had the 1st pick of the 1st round, last pick of the 2nd round, 1st pick of the 3rd round and so on. Here's what I came out with: (# denotes round player taken in, italicized denotes starter)
QB:
Aaron Brooks (6th)
Byron Leftwich (7th)
RB:
Priest Holmes (1)
Kevin Jones (4)
Willis McGahee (15)
Greg Jones (19)
WR:
Torry Holt (2)
Terrell Owens (3)
Charles Rogers (6)
Ashley Lelie (14)
Deion Branch (18)
TE:
Todd Heap (5)
K:
Ryan Longwell (11)
We also did defensive players, but I won't bother posting those.
So I did end up going with Holmes 1st Overall, just seemed right to me. Although I wasn't sure of either LT or Holmes until it came down to the last minute . And sure enough, LT went right after I took Holmes.
