like the U-20 teams of both countries, the U-18 teams will also challenge each other three times. these three games will be played in davos, switzerland.

What do you think are the chances for the German U-18 and U-20 to stay at the highest level?? :dunno:

The chances are like each year. They have to fight and they do need luck to stay in the best group. It all depends on their determination and team work.
I hope they do stay in the best group (is Gawlik ready to play or still out with his shoulder injury??)

they have to beat at least one of the better countries in order to stay. that'll be tough, but not impossible.

as far as i know, he's already playing with the U20 team.

Good to hear - i´ve just heard about the injury in march and that he might not be able to play until august/september...

maybe we know it tonight after the 2nd game. he's on the U-20 roster and it seems that it's just for these games and not a general one. so he seems to be fit. but i will try to find it out. :)

i'm pretty sure no one here can give you a report about gawlik because he played just one game for the U-18 and it was in davos, switzerland. maybe, just maybe, someone from davos is on this board, but i don't think so. i haven't found any good article about the games yet. i will try to check some other boards to find something out, but don't count on it. i'm pretty sure you will get more reports when the DEL-season has started or at least the juniors. in his single game he was held scoreless without any PIM, btw.
