Calgary Flames sign Dustin Johner

Selected in the sixth round (169th overall) by Florida in the 2001 National Hockey Entry Draft, Johner led South Carolina in the postseason with four goals and four power-play goals while tying for the team lead in points with seven (4g-3a). Johner led the ECHL in the postseason with a shooting percentage of 36.4 percent (4-for-11) and scored a point in each of South Carolina’s seven postseason games. He tied for the lead among rookies and tied for second overall in the postseason with four power-play goals.

Good signing for the Flames. I got to see Johner play for the Stingrays in the playoffs and he was one of the best players out there.
