The rule changes, hmmm, well making the lines thicker, I don't see what that'll change? And the deal about not letting goalies play the puck behind the goals, that's just stupid. It's one thing if they can't smother the puck behind the goal line but stopping it with their stick and passing it to a teammate, that should be allowed.

And also, I'm a bit disappointed that Omaha didn't get the franchise instead of Des Moines, but oh well (might relocate there in the future so it'd be nice with an AHL team there in their new arena, instead of in Des Moines).

Looks Like it will probably be Dallas affiliating with Des Moines

Wouldv'e been nice to seen Des Moines become the new home of the Flames' dormant AHL affiliate franchise, since Saint John's is no longer around (a damn shame, IMO) and we're only getting a limited # of spots with Lowell.
