Seriously, as much as I love Daze's size and scoring ability, I seriously question whether he'd be healthy enough to play.

If it is a conditional contract based on GP and other insentives, why not?

Base salary of no more than $2 million and lots of insentive clauses. I'm sure he would love to play for a winner.

So, we qualify Friesen and then trade him? I'd rather qualify him and let him sign somewhere else. At least that way we have an opp to get a decent draft pick. Daze is damaged goods.
