Antwan Jamison to Wiz for 5th overall

The Mavs are supposedly very high on Podkolzine or they plan on sending it to the Lakers in a deal for Shaq.

I pray to God they take Podkolzine.

That would bump one of the PG's to Toronto.

I think this is more of an effort to get the Lakers to drop their demand for Dirk. Im betting they plan on offering Nash and the #5 and maybe someone else for Shaq.

a deal for shaq won't happen by tomorrow night. shaq just wants a trade, he never said 'i'll never play for the lakers ever again'

If I'm the Mavs I'd do 5th + Walker + Bradley + Stackhouse/Howard for Shaq. You've gotta keep Finley if your dealing Walker.

But then again if I was the Mavs I would not have dealt Jamison at all.

Mark Cuban will not trade any of the big 3. He's publically said so many times. I especially hope he won't trade Finley, or that'd be one of the worst things ever done.

Great deal for the Mavs. Stackhouse will be a great bench player next season. I don't know much about Laettner, but he'll garner some value. Jamison was also expendable. Josh Howard and Marquis Daniels will more than replace him.

I'd like to see the Mavs acquire Shaq, but not at a King's ransom. I wouldn't trade Dirk straight up for Shaq right now, they won't want Nash as he's FA, and I wouldn't trade Finley at all. I'd probably offer 5th overall, Walker, and Laettner. If it doesn't get Shaq, then we keep the pick.

if you're the mavs and shaq is available to you WITHOUT HAVING TO DEAL NOWITZKI!! theres nothing that prevents this from happening, right there you have by far the most dominating front court (in more ways then one) in the nba, it would be impossible for a team to gaurd against them
