As a Lions fan my normal team name is 1957 and waiting. 1957 of course is the last time the Detroit Lions won the Championship.

and we, the lions fans, have to wait probably for another almost 50 years, since i see not really any progress in this team.

i prefer the chicago beers somehow for a fantasy name. :)

Great thread. I'm in the pre-stages of pondering mine as well. Last year I was Takeo's Magicstick...the year before, Clubber Lang. Good times.

NFL- Vikes fan.

Not sure if I want to go that direction, but I'm open minded.

Another solid name I just heard - coming from the clown who finished last in our league last year. 'The Bye Week'.

Hey....I just had a lightbulb go off. The Clowns!

Then when I take home the championship everyone can cry about how they got beat by a bunch of clowns.

All you'd have is tight ends and wide receivers.

BTW, I use Moon Dogs for all my fantasy teams. John Lennon's first band (or maybe it was last before the Beatles) was Johnny and the Moon Dogs.
