[LAT] Latvian Olympic Qualifiers

As part of my ongoing planning for hockey trips next year, and my planned protest at Great Britain not being in the Olympic Qualifiers, I'm planning on going with some friends to Latvia for the Olympic Qualifiers next February.

Is it safe to assume that these games will take place in Riga? Or might they be played somewhere else like Venstpils? Really want to go to Riga, but possibly wouldn't be as interested in going if it was elsewhere...

I actually think, that most likely the tournament will be held in Ventspils, but I will try to get some info in next couple of days - Ventspils is really a beautiful city, but it is much more boring than Riga..

Well, I guess Venspils might seem somewhat attractive, but rockstar is right1984 is right on the button about Riga - you won't be bored for a minute. Whether it's a good thing or a bad thing remains to be seen. I, personally was always sleepy there. And I lived there for 24 years :)

Whad did you do in Riga for 24 years??
