Report: Kings increase offer to Palffy

The L.A. Times reports that the Los Angeles Kings have increased an initial proposal to forward Ziggy Palffy, offering him a three-year contract believed to be worth $16 million to $18 million US.

"We've had conversations with Ziggy, and he's indicated that he'd like to stay," King GM Dave Taylor told the paper. "We think we've made a very reasonable offer. We'll see what they come back with."

LA please resign him. This would end all the "well palffy was an islander and likes LI and ONCE said he would love to return" hub bub....

PS - Turgeon said that too when he was in STL...before taking the DAL money...

That's a lot of money for a guy who is hurt half of every season.

All depends on Ziggy's infamous agent. If he is still completely unreasonable and the Kings offer (which seems at or above market value) is not enough for him Ziggy will be on the move.

I do not think there is any chance the Islanders make an offer if he were available.
