I found it quite ironic Argos would ever make this trade...But they were in a huge position with too many QB,s on their club...But it certainly gives TICATS a HUGE HUGE boost to their roster

Brady was going to challenge Allen for the starter's role in Toronto. This says Allen is #1, plus they're gambling that Bishop is ready to assume the backup role (he's raw, but has great upside).

Now the Ti-Cats actually get someone who can backup McManus (who I think may step aside later in the season considering how much he sucked last season). McManus was a good QB, but he's gonna be 39. And he's not Damon Allen. Brady will be the #1 within a year if not sooner.
