Two homeruns today, two away from 500.
Where would he be if he could have stayed healthy?

Ken Griffey Jr.The Mars Volchenkov 06-06-2004, 02:12 PM Two homeruns today, two away from 500. Where would he be if he could have stayed healthy? TVanek26* 06-06-2004, 02:15 PM He's just catching fire...if he stays healthy the whole year...big things for Cincy Hossa 06-06-2004, 02:32 PM He's hitting them out of the park and he's driving them in too. If he could get his average up, he'd be having a great year offensively all-round. Snugglepuss 06-06-2004, 03:47 PM If he stayed healthy, he would have been the all time HR leader. Now, I think he'll get top 10. What could have been. goteam 06-06-2004, 03:52 PM It's the roids!!! I knew it. Better put an asterisk next to his name. RisingSinker 06-07-2004, 07:42 PM He would be close to 1st now, at age 34. Man, can injuries really spiral a career. Brewtus the Beerbarian 06-07-2004, 08:30 PM He never should have left Seattle, it was all downhill after that. Darz 06-08-2004, 08:47 AM Considering he was at 400 at what?!? 19 years old, it's about freakin time!!!! Imo, he still has the sweetest swing in the game. The G Man 06-08-2004, 09:00 AM I've been to 3 games this year and he's homered in each. If Carl Lindner is willing to buy me tickets for the remainder of the season, he'll probably hit about 100 this year. Tuggy 06-08-2004, 09:23 AM Well if he was able to stay healthy there is no doubt he would of had a chance at Aaron's record. To bad really, because he is a great ball player and seems like a pretty nice guy. Fun to watch. To bad really, because he is a great ball player and seems like a pretty nice guy. Fun to watch. It's still not out of the question, to break Arrons record that is. No one thought Bonds would have a chance to come close to it when he was at the same age as Griffey is. I'm not gonna say he'll continue to play like this. But i hope so for fanasty reasons, atleast this year :D thesiver 06-08-2004, 11:17 AM :teach: A-Rod will break Aaron's record. :teach: DaMick 06-08-2004, 11:32 AM Two homeruns today, two away from 500. Where would he be if he could have stayed healthy? we would have have been talking about him hitting homer #700...not 500 The Guy on the Couch* 06-08-2004, 11:52 AM It's nice to see him sort of back to his old self this season. HE"S A FUN PLAYER TO WATCH> (MY CAPS LOCK KEY IS STUCK OR SOMETHING) in the hall 06-08-2004, 12:31 PM :teach: A-Rod will break Aaron's record. :teach: hopefully he'll break Bonds' also. | ||
