Carney contract info

Hey Ducks fans, we are running a sim league and we've had some issues with Carney's contract.

First of all, I see that he was re-signed May 12th....was he supposed to be a UFA this summer or is this just a year added to his current contract? sort of like he was already signed for 04-05 but we scrapped that deal, re-negotiated the 04-05 salary and added a year?

His contract expired after this season, but there was a two-year team option on it, and Bryan Murray excersised it.
